My approach to care is to utilize my empathetic passion for supporting others through their difficult times to achieve stability one’s life. At some point or another we all may experience challenges that lead us to seek treatment. I value each client’s comfort and autonomy, it is important that an individual feels heard and understood, this starts by removing the stigma from seeking out care. I strive to learn a client’s goals and incorporate it into their care as this provides a foundation for successful treatment.
Throughout the years, I have had a successful nursing career working in settings such as inpatient adult and adolescent psychiatric units, the emergency department and behavioral community health. These experiences have given me a significant edge in providing a supportive and comfortable space when engaging in treatment with individuals seeking care.
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2008 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I then went on to obtain my Master’s in Nursing Education in 2021 from Post University. I am now a Nurse Practitioner Intern completing my second Master’s in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Mount Carmel College of Nursing with an anticipated graduation date of May 2023.
